Coincidentally, it pairs well with Red, which is also about making the most of a finite amount of time. Red is more competitive in nature, and it's also about the desire of some artists to not be replaced, or to have a lasting legacy. Violet, on the other hand, is a bit sorrowful about things having to end, but Ina seems to be at peace with the idea of the ephemeral. If you manage to touch hearts and create fond memories in your lifetime, then you've succeeded.
I guess you could say Red and Violet are on the opposite ends of the spectrum...
