I was never in the nene thread either. From what I can piece together, there is a smell fetish anon who spams ritual posts and constantly responds to his own posts to bump /nene/. They always accompanied with descriptions of odious odors. Unfortunately this had the opposite effect of keeping the thread alive. It poed the other husbands so much that it drove down participation. This lead to /nene/ dying off.
