I can't remember what the name is for those "burns" you sometimes see in the corners for 1 frame on old film, and I don't think it'll do a good job of "telecine wobble" or "gate wobble" or any other number of film artifacts. I might try "Chuck Jones" or "Tex Avery"
very early Looney Tunes, but you're probably more familiar with the work he did for MGM next, I think that one will be easier to get right. Less variables since it should just be an artist/style to emulate rather than an entire setting.
