Also if you just stop fighting them in contested areas that they're trying to keep they don't have any reason to keep sitting at the computer defending them. You directly give them a purpose by doing it, where otherwise they would likely just go do something else until they're given another template.
The space that they're fighting over wouldn't take any time at all to retake if someone like mouse was streaming. That's why it's important to use your pixels to fill up the massive amount of uncontested space that's still left to cover, that shit will take time no matter who's online. Place those pixels now and they will last. Don't worry about the temporary stuff.
