Speaking of the bakery arc ending, I don't think they were expecting to go THAT far, because they assumed the server would shut down before things got too out of control. I can imagine KoroMio wanting to wrap up the story with the cross counter scene and Kanata cheering in the background, but they didn’t realize there was still at least an hour left. So, they had to keep winging it, playing along with what was happening, which led to the FubuMio casino date and the KoroAzki wedding at the cabaret
It's a bitter ending if you were invested in the family and rooting for them, but that last hour of chaos was pure comedy gold and I wouldn’t change it for anything. I’m still laughing thinking about Kanata shooting Korone in the face while she was trying to hook up with Azki after the divorce
