Not all home made food is quicker, baking bread rolls takes 2 hours at home meanwhile a trip to the store for the same amount of rolls will only take 15 mins with none of the waiting or effort needed. Same reason why people get other people/bots to farm for them in MMOs, they see it as tedium that they shouldn't have to deal with despite the risks (for this example: of getting their account banned)
