The only preventative measure is to never strongly express any positive or negative emotions towards anything you post about, and that just seems miserable. I'd rather have the constant hilarious highs and seething lows of posting like a normal person, rather than shielding myself in irony where I just make fun of everyone else's opinions while I never allow myself to express my own.
