>>37200138Im probably the closest to an /infinity/ writer the thread has currently, but im not their rep so take anything I say with a big spoonful of sugar. They are based on what little I have discussed with Kronieronie, who is currently inactive.
In general, they would be considered to be quite pragmatic. Kronie architecture, clothes, and devices are first and foremost designed to work, and work reliably or in a way that they can be easily repaired. Exception to this rule are religious or otherwise important items, buildings, and garments. A civilian kronie is likely to dress in simple clothes that do not garner much attention, but a priestess or an officer is likely going to be wearing something much finer.
Matters of sex and storytelling are also valued highly, and items, buildings, and outfits that have to do with those things would thus also be far more decorated and revered than their mundane equivalents would be.
A highly respected form of art is storytelling, in the form of written works and oral storytelling. This is an activity that many of the /infinity/ kronies take part in, and have grown with. It would be relatively common for, say, kronie conscripts to recite stories, both those they have come up on their own and those they have heard before, around the campfire while their troop camps for the night.
The /inf/ kronies themselves are pale and shorter than the average vitubian. They tend to have dark hair, but can have other colours as well. On average they are also slightly physically weaker. A Kronie soldier is unlikely to win a wrestling match with an equally experienced Matiyotl of same age, but could match equally to a lot less experienced Matiyotl.
In battle, both between armies of thousands of men and in one on one duels, a kronie soldier seeks to gain advantage through skill and information over pure raw strength. Most often this aspect appears on the form of technological advances, high discipline, and long training.
Kronie diet is quite simple and poor. They eat little, and they tend to eat simple foods. Extravagance is seen as wasteful, in most situations. A rifleman diet would be one of those situations.
Ideologically /infinity/ kronies believe that valuing the collective over the individual is virtuous. Sacrifices are acceptable if they ensure the survival of the nation, and it would be virtuous to willingly be that sacrifice. However, naturally not all can follow this virtue, as kronies are still just humans. There is a strong religious aspect to this, as kronies are fanatically religious. Their weapons have prayers etched into them, and religious officials would likely company kronie soldiers on missions. Think of them as borderline wh40k in this. The fact that most stories name the deity they worship as "The Kroniisiah" you can probably see how apt this comparison is.
The nation has been deeply affected by and shaped by the cultural trauma of the Great Winter period, which still defines a lot of how the people of the nation think and act. Preparedness, paranoia, and valuing the community over the individual are aspects of the collective /infinity/ kronie mindset that have their roots in this cultural trauma.

Colderonie especially describes some of the religious aspects of a kronie riflemen, and also off-handedly mentions aspects of a kronie army camp life:
