>>70913777>>70914001Yeah, it was a weird timezone technicality thing. Applications went live at like 2am so I submitted the app and went to bed. I woke up to a half a dozen discord pings "send this right now or you're out" for something I thought could wait for morning. Most of those were super early morning (4-5am). Disappointed but it gives the thread a bit of time to sort out what they want on the team next time and start collecting audio clips, ad boards, player names and models, etc for next time.
/asp/ did get to participate in the friendlies before this league so that was nice anyway and we have a number of /asp/ies represented on other teams so be sure to catch games for (off the top of my head) /fig/, /choc/, /hfz/ and /vrt/.
While I'm IDing myself I guess, why don't you guys give me some ideas for the things I named:
- player names/models (don't worry if you can't make the models, we have people for that)
--second caveat is the names and models *can be* chuubas but should not simply be named after individual chuubas. For example, "Just Go Live" on the current roster is Kankuro's face and Convenience Store Icecream is a certain thread history relevant though contentious mothman.
-ad boards: These go around the edges of the pitch and can be basically anything you want that "advertises" something about a chuuba, a channel, the thread, or some meme about the thread.
-chants: in divegrass terms these are just "funny noises" clips that the commentators can play during slow parts of matches or to "hype up" the team to make a comeback. They're just little audio clips and the last crop are just stuff I found on different aspie clip pages.
-hype videos: teams can submit videos to either hype up their appearance in the tournament or to hype up a match they're scheduled to play with another team. Obviously we don't know anything about specific opponents right now because the current league will wrap up soon and then the next one is in 6 months, but anyone who can edit videos is welcome to make a hyp and I can give guidance on some examples of our past hyps or those by other teams.
