I beat stage 1 hard with 4 halu with Kiara before even noticing there were new movement/attack/health upgrades, and it wasn't even that challenging. I'm not sure Mumei is the best character for this. But with Mumei I'm struggling to get a good halu run going. Mumei has no defensive kit of her own so I need something to defend and heal, probably multiple items, and then my damage falls off to the point where 4/5 or 5/5 halu saplings will just not die fast enough and move too fast to avoid.
I've also died multiple times to that one event where two columns of saplings teleport in to trap you. If I'm moving horizontally I'll run right into one of them and die instantly. Really annoying, the dev even changed it recently to give you more room but it didn't help much.
