Godzilla was massively successful in the West multiple times over more than half a century. Just because there wasn't a major movie released in the West for a while doesn't mean that it only recently found popularity.
Anyway, Fuwamoco should do a watchalong for Mothra vs Godzilla and then sing Mothra's song. Just tell them that that's one of the ones with The Peanuts in it or something.
