>>17351133I don't know if I'd call the D-pad great since the XB1, it felt like it took MS until this gen to make controllers with great D-pads. For 2D platformers like Castlevania or Celeste it was kinda lackluster last gen, and I couldn't imagine it'd be that much better for fightan games like Virtua Fighter or Street Fighter.
I guess it doesn't matter though since not a single console manufacturer out there seems to know how to make a good D-pad nowadays, and they don't make fightan-friendly controllers default controllers like they did for the Saturn.
