The rest of us who knows how that kind of relationship never works are of course against. Single mothers are single for a reason. The woman is usually a whore or crazy, usually both. And the kid will always see you as a stranger who came to stole her mother.
I comfirm this by experience of being the kid and having a close relative become a step-father for some months.
