However, when they actually become adults and this phase ends, they drop the act, stop caring about how others view them, and generally go back to enjoying the things they used to. The fact that you still try to pretend fart jokes aren't funny, even after you supposedly became an adult, doesn't bode well for your argument about 'maturity,' big boy.
