I don't know how it went for you, but for me it was mostly just somewhat unpleasant but it went away fairly soon. I remember my cheek being completely numb from the anesthesia so I had to consciously stop myself from chewing through the inside of the cheek kek. The hole in where the tooth was also felt so weird until it healed.
