One of the biggest points for Kanatan was that her actual size was always hidden and she could always brag that she's gonna be right in the end, now that she's as flat as people expected it doesn't have the same comedic impact. I mean the teasing surely won't stop but I think it loses a bit of flavor that way. Keeping it ambiguous was the right idea in my opinion.
