So for a while after, I would try to work Bae into conversations for fun and spite. They genuinely have a lot in common, so she comes up a lot, and I am always happy to praise and defend her. At one point a guy completely snapped and started spamming actual death threats and dox, until the jannies nuked him. That day got us a lot of tourists though, and other people in the thread started Bae posting. It was still mostly in context, especially around whenever they would interact, and generally pretty fun. About half the people in /baubau/ like Bae, and the other half insult her at every mention. However like a week or two ago, some other dude started just posting Bae pics with no text constantly, and it's just lame spam at this point.
