Game itself ran butter smooth for me. Combat is fine, lacks impact but maybe later weapons will improve that,, if not it's something that can be tweaked by mods.
Enemy AI is abysmal, many times they just stood there not reacting for several seconds, even in the middle of a firefight.
There are a lot of little disconnects they could have avoided, like getting in and out of the ship is just a fade to black rather than an animation. Everything is "fast travel here, fast travel there".
You also don't really explore planets, they're just "containers" for activities it seems. There's no sense of scale, that seems bad for a giant space game.
It's ok, feels disappointing.
It's also obvious they had a checklist for woke things to put in the game, also something I assume we'll get a mod to fix fairly fast.
