ANYCOLOR TRIPS
Despite Anycolor's efforts their stock will see another loss as they close out at 3320 yen for the week. Their performance overall was erratic and not really settling before their final price. Anycolor is now on a 3 day losing streak, although they at least don't have it as bad as someone else.
ANYCOLOR WEEK IN REVIEW
Anycolor sees a 40 yen loss for the week, only seeing gains on Monday. Considering the situation regarding the fallout from Cover's collapse, Anycolor has made it out relatively unscathed. However, taking comparisons from Cover's performance when Anycolor crashed last year it's possible that Anycolor may soon follow Cover gradually. But considering the market status (Growth vs Prime), and their contrasting business practices it's unreasonable to fully expect a 1:1 recreation.
COVER CONTINUES TO SELL
Cover continues it's downfall as the stock sees a fire sale to close out at 2441 Yen (-249) for the week. Despite that, the stock's performance was rather stagnant with major drops in the beginning and right after lunch. Cover now sees a devastating 949 yen loss since their report, or roughly a 28% loss in stock value.
COVER WEEK IN REVIEW
Cover sees a 739 yen loss for the week, going 2 for 4 on gains. We've already discussed the Q3 report in detail at
>>95503345, so I'll refrain from going into more detail and instead discuss what may happen from after this week.
Cover is now back to their prices relatively to after their previous report in November, which frankly is still a better position than where they were in the month prior in October if we wish to be optimistic. And it could be argued the stock was vastly overvalued (especially considering their trajectory at the beginning of this month.) and this is a correction. But even if that's the case, it doesn't obscure how much of a momentum killer and potential downward spiral this may enable as saw with Anycolor last year. Perhaps with lowered and more reasonable expectations and a strong Q4, they'll manage to not out of the as much as Anycolor was, but that's 3 months into the future.
OTHER
The NIKKEI sees a 0.79% stumble as we close out the week.
