>>16164292This might surprise you (and I'm pretty sure you wont believe me anyway) but after Season 29ish the show really picks up in quality. There was a huge writers shake up and most of the production team basically said "fuck it, nobody thinks this show is good anymore, let's just do whatever". Which lead to a lot of interesting episodes and directions.
It's not all good, there's still some stinker episodes here and there, but that's been the case since season 5. It wouldn't be fair to say it's a "return to form" because the show now is so drastically different to what it was pre-1996 but the quality now is the highest it's been in about 20(?) years. Which is nice. It's an "anime redemption arc" of sorts.Also, I've seen almost every episode in 3 languages and can speak every line of dialogue from the first 4 seasons from memory. I'm going to watch this show, regardless of quality, until I die or it does. It's my curse.Anyway because this is really off-topic - I hope Snuffy isnt getting sick again - she mentioned she wasn't feeling well in the RDR2 stream.
