Maybe it's just me, but while I'm not playing a character here, I'm likely a vastly different seeming person IRL simply due to the vast differences between these two communication platforms. I've heard of many people who flirt and date online for years and yet when they actually meet up they simply aren't compatible in any way. Though, I guess you then get into discussion of whether your online self or your IRL self is a more accurate version of your own personality, or if that even exists in the first place.
>>56438384I mean, it's not like if Ike's VA got replaced, I would be all fine and dandy. They are incredibly intertwined. There's no Ike without the person behind him, but the person behind him exists and can live on without Ike, and I'm not necessarily interested in him alone. For an example, Yugo was definitely not oshi tier for me but in my top 5 for sure, but now that he's left the company I've found I'm not all that interested in his new character, so I don't keep up much with him anymore.
