If you like doing nothing while receiving passive growth without any sweat just invest into a total market ETF like $SPY, if you like watching trends and stuff but not doing a ton of research then look into special ETFs, if you are a hyper autist you can hunt down market inefficiencies and buy individual stocks, if you love spread sheets and smugly watching paint dry go all in on blue chip divies, if you are willing to get rich or go all in on $ROPE trying then try options.
Take emotions out of it, take politics out of it. None of that shit matters not really.
