I got filtered out of it all and have no interest in it or anything related to it. Anime, manga, vtubers, even K-stuff is now the dominant cultural force and the only things worth interacting with. Western (specifically American to be precise) media is utterly dead and these are just the twitchings of a dead dinosaur. And nobody cares because there's no reason to care.
Vtubing is a part of the new paradigm which includes anime, manga etc. and none of it has anything to do with the US media machine. That's why it's worth watching. It's fun and entertaining. I unironically look down on people who consume Western media.
