She runs a 2 PC setup. This is purely her gaming PC. It's not dual booted or anything but it also contains basically nothing but games. The various disks are actual physical SSDs scraped together from leftover stuff.
And honestly for that use case this is totally fine. Why spend money when you literally don't have to? She'd get no real upgrade from getting a 1TB except maybe less hassle uninstalling old games.
Also, she does, as far as we know, not use Linux on her workstations. We just know that she has a Linux based recovery stick and she at some point installed Ubuntu on her mom's laptop.
