I can tell you more. I think that Ike tries to keep himself constantly busy partly to stop himself from falling asleep but also because he hates wasting time.
That's not just a real Ike thing but a lore thing too because he says "To be alive with no goal, is slowly draining my soul.
If my whole life’s been in vain, I think I might go insane!"
Because he lost so much time due to the skip, and because he never knows if he's going to wake up in the future again, he's become obsessed with making sure that he makes the best of what time he has.
The only time he can really let himself relax is when he's hanging out with Luxiem or his other friends. Though I'd like to include Quilldren here too.
