Drooling Zoomers that still have pacifiers in their mouths wont know this tho. it was practically impossible to get a girl to even touch a video game, let alone play it. "girl gamer" is a new recent fad that started with twitch after virgins took notice to how "hot" it was. but even now you can see clear evidence that women are are just taking advantage of that girl gamer tag.
dont believe me? go to girl streams like pokimane and see how often they are in just chatting section watching youtube videos rather than playing a actual video game.
So that is why there is a gap. Its because women did not take any kind of noticed to video games or streaming until AFTER twitch became popular.
