>>94482922>1. HoloFightZThe OG original. Has the closest to actual standard week to week wrestling booking, it's weakness is the gap between streams. The current schedule makes championship reigns feel ginormous and puts unnecessary heat on the champs. Doesn't need to necessarily stream more, but change up the booking slightly or set up a narrative to explain the lapse in time.
>2. Clash of ChuubasIn a weird way, CoC is like DARK in a lot of ways, weaving many different events together, and what I think gives CoC an edge is the fact that it deals with active talent, which gives the viewer more incentive to tune in to see if the latest rrats will be represented in some way. Given it's broad roster, it covers well beyond most things not Hololive in its scope, all a plus. It's weakness is definitely in its booking, a lot of repeat or near repeat matches. Like, as much as I love Stack vs Ci, does it need to happen nearly every episode? In that way, its even closer to actual week to week wrestling booking, but I feel like the stakes are not usually elevated enough, outside of certain main event stories.
>3. HFZ DARKFrom the start, DARK has had strong ties to storylines and narratives, and that's definitely where it shines. I would have placed DARK at second, but it has a very major flaw: LOOOOOONG delays between its "plot" episodes. It's nice that it airs roughly every other week, sometimes weekly, but leaving the plot and story behind to do so for random filler just leaves a bad taste in my mouth. At that point, it may be better to abandon plots until EVERYTHING is ready. Lest we imagine more OPs and EDs. Coming soon, imaginary lore.
The rest I haven't watched enough of to Rank with 100% confidence, so some cliff notes:
>World Daipan Classic was lacking a bit in the hype/excitement department, but I think it had a great structure. I think that has to do with the average viewer's lack of knowledge or interest in Nijis, but I think it could have found it's niche audience. F.>Squared Circuit covers a lot of holes in CoC's roster in terms of variety, while covering its own specific niche. Episodes are a bit long for my taste, but I think that's a plus for most.>Extreme Chuuba Wrestling has a nice presentation style, integrating the streamer into the show, but I like that sort of thing more so in event-like shows like Chuuba Battle Tournament or Wrestletuber. I like that it covers >here Chuubas>Fighting Idol Championship brings an idea of a shared universe between board events, which is interesting. Looking forward to seeing how it develops.
