I approach streaming very methodically in considering practical function though, as in I have permeated so deeply into my people that "Keep Staying Strong"(tm) has become a daily expression in my life as is mutually shared obsession with the color orange and it's meaning. I plan to turn my channel into my own corporation/cult/team etc to embrace that work from home meta as well as thirdie wage.
Let me know if that's too abstract though I dont really care anymore. Just know clearly what you want to do and what different platforms mean. Such as GoFundMe vs KickStarter.
