1. The talent provides almost all of her content to her viewers(potential customers) for free.
2. A fraction of those viewers get emotionally invested enough to feel the need to support the talent.
3. The talent decides whether and how hard she wants to prey on that emotional investment(GFE).
4. Unless you personally know the talent outside of her work, it's physically impossible to be her friend.
GFE and parasocialism are nothing but predatory marketing strategies to cultivate a stable revenue stream.
