Even if the movie failed so badly it's good - he completed his dream of making a movie, a dream he wanted to accomplish so badly, he created some fur company just to get money for that. I don't remember the details, but behind that autistic persona is a real hard worker. Doesn't surprise me the least for him to follow people doing some watch parties of his movie.
