>>81744427I read it when I was fairly? Young. So I was really impressionable but!! I remember I almost dropped the first book because it's really, uncomfortable. It's composed of three books and the first one is really, atleast for me, a hard read. There is no love, just pure politics, manipulation and greed for everything and power. But once you get to book 2 and 3 and even the summer special, it's a total reverse. There is a reason why characters can be so foul and I think the reason why it's so moving is the carrot and stick. The stick was painful and long but the slow descent to the carrot was scary but eventually warm and so sweet. I won't tell anytbing that happens in it plot wise but it's so good. You can hardly believe that some characters are even the same person if you read it at the end and compare them from the beginning. Please do read it bfnfmd
it got hate at tumblr before but what does tumblr doesn't do back then, because the writer is white and it does tackle slavery. I won't say how everything is resolved but fufu
