>>13623583That's true for almost all languages and Japanese is actually particularly bad since the particles can mean different things based on context & short/long vowels/consonants can mean very different things.
That's why context is important, If I go to the bakery & I ask for a bag of flour, I will be very upset if I get a bag of hydrangea instead.
Similarly, If I was in a train station & ask for a "kaado" that means I want a train card, & not looking for work /"kadoo".
