the rule is you don't /thread your thread in the original post. You can definitely /thread your post. That's how it started out as a concept.
t. ancientfag, there was a time when this mattered and people were actively kvetching at OPs threading their threads. It was even a very popular way to troll back in 2005 and early 06.
