And He loves you so much that He sent his Son(God fully in human form) to die a gruesome and painful death for you despite living a perfect sinless life, gifting you Grace(the undeserved gift of God which is salvation) so you can return to Him and spend eternity with Him in heaven once your limited time on earth is up
And even if that weren't true, that's an awfully pathetic way to go about life, there's plenty to do and plenty to want and to try and achieve
If you view life as meaningless you're either really uncreative or really and overly pessimistic and nihilistic
There's plenty of perspectives from which you can get meaning, and yet you go with the worst and most pathetic one? Oh, please!
Going through a lot is an explanation, but it's not an excuse, it's an opportunity if anything
