I didn't get my say the last time this guy was around, so I'll do it now on the off-chance it makes a difference:
Baiting for conversations using actual bait is retarded, and detrimental in the long run. As we've seen with the one poster, it actually puts people off of using threads, even if it nets you a few (You)s in the short term. You can just as easily bait for good conversation topics, you just have to put in the effort.
Anyways, it's always been the case that there is only so much off-topic that /pyon/ can participate in before things start to slow down. Just because threads get slow doesn't mean they are on life support. It picks up and drops off with Kiki activity, always. If people see Kiki is active in threads, they'll post more here. If people see Kiki is active in Cytube, they'll show up for Cytube. If there is radio silence from Kiki then the threads tends to reflec thtat. It's not really rocket science that most of us are here for Kiki.
The one exception to this is with Champ initiated activity, like the movie we watched the other day that seemed to draw a lot of people in, including Kiki herself. This is an example of the good kind of bait for activity if you really want to make a difference around here for the better. Obivously projects like the pyon website, divegrass, /pyon/ sings, art, etc. all have contributed to discussions in the past. And recently there have been talks of Champ video game projects that have drawn discussion. So it's not lot we can't have activity here without Kiki, it just means that some individuals have to put in the effort to get the ball rolling on those sorts of initiatives. If you care as much as you claim to about activity and you're not just some schizo baiter who is full of shit you could be that person. Or, I don't know, just kys faggot.
