Everything under the surface of Maoism there is literally national socialism adapted to the Chinese, including the historical racial narrative aspect but its execution is a bit more cultural and ethnic than purely racial.
If you are Asian you must conform to the Han Chinese ideal or literally be purged from society, doesn't matter if you are mongolian, uyghur or whatever minor ethnic group that inhabited China historically.
