Ideally you'd have a solution where you can just browse social media such as Twitter or YouTube and then mine information automatically into flashcards. I spend some of my free time making such a software and its going good so far, I've mined over 1000 cards from videos using it so far. It would be real fun to do youtube or tiktok video sentence mining streams instead of duolingo, kind of like a watchalong but the chuuba is showing you videos in JP she's interested in and mining new cards from it by pressing a button. Anyways, IMO the anki and duolingo grind is all nonsense garbage
