For streamers of Vedal's size many of them are set for life because they frequently take sponsored streams. Vedal does not do this out of a retarded misplaced sense of pride that's typical of young teenage men.
Lets use Filian as an example. If not for her hosting the vtuber awards multiple times she would be well on her way to being set for life due to the sponsor money she soaked up, the fact that her career is dying wouldn't matter because she would have already made it by investing that money instead.
The 2 subathons Vedal had were very successful but remember he lives here in the UK. After UK taxes + Twitch's cut he sees maybe 30% of what the subathon earned.
I'm not saying he should be spamming sponsor streams, but even 1 sponsor stream a month would close to 10x his earning for that year. But Vedal is young and dumb so he would instead piss away his free ticket to an easy life.
I guess the appeal of being a wagie slave for 30 years is too enticing for him.
