>>88155378ok! I went through your channel and listened a bit through some VODs, here's the main things I would recommend
- Clean up your stream setup, get some overlays and put chat/notifs on the screen. use Streamelements for this if you aren't aware of them already. it's just a bare minimum change that tells new viewers that you're putting some amount of effort into this, even basic homemade overlays or cobbled together nonsense are better than nothing, hell I made all my own overlays in GIMP before i started streaming and i'm still using them to this day
- Try to talk about things other than the game you're playing. this is mostly something that comes with practice, it took me a while to get decent at keeping convo flowing and entertaining while doing other stuff and it'll probably take you a while too unless you just have a natural skill for it. I watched through my own VODs to self-evaluate if I made good "second monitor" material, and i recommend doing the same. is the convo entertaining to have on in the background? if not, what would improve it? what are the good parts, how can we try to drive the convo to lead to more of that? etc.
I think you're doing well for starting out, keep up the good work brother!
>>88155514literally don't say anything. shit you say on stream isn't going to get you in trouble unless someone posts clips of you doing it on social media, so if it happens on stream say nothing AT ALL. if it happens on social (why are you posting wack shit on social media?! bro??) then at MOST just delete it. Unless you hurt someone specifically, NEVER post an apology, it's only giving an excuse for more people to acknowledge it and dogpile on you if they dislike you for other reasons. if you DO post an apology, NEVER respond to comments on it, don't respond to anyone. don't ever mention it again, except maybe way in the future as an "incident".
The key thing to remember is that no one ACTUALLY cares. if you say something offensive or do something stupid, you're just some other guy on the internet, they're gonna forget it and move on, and the only reason they have any reason to care is if they can drag you for it or if they can milk it for drama/clout, by not responding you don't give them that satisfaction.
>>88155782sure bro here's a fiver
