Which is precisely why them filtering by numbers is fucking stupid. They need to get talents that have in their mind that they're there to grow and evolve, not those who have already made it. Pre-debut hype never pays off, just look at Millie and Enna compared to their PLs. This idea that most of the talents wouldn't make it in today because the bar has been raised too much is one of the most noxious things about the discourse surrounding NijiEN internally and externally. The whole reason why people stick to them is because they want to be there when they succeed, there's an ocean of better singers, artists, gamers, etc. out there.
