>>68356115makes a lot of sense, really. I mean, I KNOW that I don't really need to care about stroke orders and (hand) written Kanji at all. Might just be the old-school "do it the proper way" conditioning ingrained in my ojisan brain. One of the main reasons why the first thing I did was buy a textbook as well.
Thinking way far ahead, another thing I want to consider is while I absolutely learn Japanese for myself and my weeb hobbies, it'd also be nice to get at least N5 or N4 certified at one point or the other. You know, might as well if you already put in all this time and effort...
It's not particularly useful in my profession, but we have a "foreign language pool" and Japanese is definitively on the very top rarity-wise. Would certainly turn a few heads in case a SSR Japanese "customer" shows up.
Anyways, I'll probably try grinding the core decks and the free levels of wanikani in tandem to see what's better and faster for me.
Thanks for all your effort, friend! I think I got most of the stuff set up by now! Fubu love!
Btw I wasn't able to check all your listed resources, but the ItazuraNeko link for "tons of media" seems dead at least
