>>74531546i dont think it would be cringe at all. I wrote the nutcracker (and i fully admit that it was a 1 sitting kind of thing) because Bae's performance just hit me and revealed to me the meat of the idol stuff
I fucking hate the idol industry past hololive precisely because they manufacturate all their stuff yet here it was genuine so in a sense its the same: a personal experience poured over your writing.
I do have to say, however, that its a very precise tone that you need to capturate. Did this person drift apart from their oshi? did they quit? did they simply find someone new? I personally was a ronin just wandering until i found mine, but i know people that had a "whirlwind romance" kind of moment where a single stream made them change.
There's also the angle of how are you writing it. If you drifted apart...is it melancholic in a good way? (Hey fuutan, remember DMC? you loved that game hahaha! oh we had good times!) or is it regretful? (Im sorry Roboco...i wasnt there for your milestone...)
Its an interesting thing but it requires you to kind of word your own personal experience
hell you could even have a Rushia story about meeting her and seeing a glimpse of that person you once loved before it crashes...or honoring their memory after the graduation
