Most of the "beggars" are trolling. But vox genuinely can be entertaining on his own. While I think the move is stupid personally, vox is a legitimately fun person to watch from time to time. As the kotokat mentioned, his dark souls streams and any souls-like such as Jedi Survivor are peak entertainment to watch as a guy because they fill a niche that nobody else does.
People "begging" for a "brotuber" are mainly just trolling.
