An after action report for Ogey Calibur, which ended today (there are some exhibition matches going on but /become/'s Lamy stepped in for GamersxBreak, so I didn't post about it)
We submitted Botan as Cervantes, and she did pretty okay - apparently Cervantes is something of a low tier in AI matches? I did zero research and I'm not sure anyone else in the thread did either, though some other threads did. This was after some polling, and our runners-up were Nene (as Talim or Astaroth iirc) and potentially trying to do a Yamena monstrosity.
There almost certainly will be an Ogey Calibur 2; I don't want to assume, so how are the feelings towards it as it stands right now? Did we like it? Do we want to do it again?
And if we DO join again, I (or anyone else in the thread, really) will probably 'acquire' a copy of SC6 to fully make our own soul rather than relying on the organizer. I think he did a good job, but there's more SOVL and we can get sillier if we do it ourselves. Please let me know your thoughts, feelings, and complaints, and especially anything you think we can do better. Thanks for coming out and supporting the thread!
Also, here's a feedback form for the tournament overall:
