I used to watch holo + indies only, I've only ever heard of niji when their 3rd gen was announced. I checked out the designs and I immediately liked Enna's, mainly because it's a loli and it's cute.
Fast forward to their debut, I was highly anticipating greatness. The voice reveal did throw me off at first but I pushed through and gave her a chance. I liked the extremely crude humor, to me it's quite unheard of in terms of vtubers. At this point I got used to the voice. I also loved the singing, I checked PL leaks and was pleasantly surprised to discover that I've already been following her long ago. Definitely made me like her more. I liked the anti-social jokes, I liked the virgin jokes, I liked the kill myself jokes, all because it was funnily relatable.
It all went downhill when she started collabing with people. Sure, some of her best moments were in those streams, but one collab partner soured me in particular. It's yellow pogman. To me, this is where the flirting began. And I didn't like that. I watched her less and less until I found myself clicking on the unsubscribe button.
When I saw the collab where she and the wigger held hands, I felt pissed off and convinced myself to not care only a few minutes after. Now I totally don't give a fuck anymore and even want her gone after knowing she's genuinely a shitty person beyond the realm of jokes.
I'd like to say wasted potential, but she was fated to go down this path with the kind of person she is. I even sometimes rewatch some of her older streams when I find myself doing nothing in my free time.
