>>86086706Because the aliens went back in time and crashed humans found their ship and decided they should make the EDF so they advance anti-alien tech to the point where humanity doesn't go extinct when invaded by OTHER aliens which means that they also wipe out the aliens who went back in time when they first get to earth before they can go back in time.
So they need to kill all the humans to stop this. But they need to let the humans make the EDF first so they can't just genocide cavemen. If they did that, then they would create a paradox because there would've been no reason for them to go back in the first place so they wouldn't have gone back and so the EDF would've been made leading to the above.
