For me, Hopium was never about getting Mumei to fit a certain mold. It was more about expressing interest in variety, which was lacking at the time. I am content now that Mumei is such a sweet person that the actual background content mostly doesn't matter, but I am also reassured that she really wants to do more but isn't quite ready yet to push management to give her permissions for more of the things she wants.
