COVER OVERTAKES ANYCOLOR
Cover stocks shoot to the moon today as the stock rockets up to 2825 yen (240) for their final price this week. Their performance stayed relatively stable after their initial surge upward, gradually going from the high 2700s to the low 2800s after lunch. Today's performance also makes Cover officially takes Anycolor's crown in the market, ending their competitor's 25 day reign at the top.
COVER'S WEEK IN REVIEW
Despite a terrible Monday opener, Cover strikes gold for a 197 yen gain for the week. The following days after Monday saw some slow and steady recovery for the most part, but it would take Friday's performance to shoot to almost new peaks. Taking the number one spot again as a nice bonus.
Things are looking positive for the company but Cover for the most part since December has been fluctuating from the 2500s to 2800s, so nothing is for certain. Not to mention, Anycolor's performance next week may cause a few hitches for them.
ANYCOLOR PATCHES UP
Anycolor makes a valiant attempt to patch up their losses, as the stock shoots up to 2742 yen (139) to close out the week. Their performance, is reminiscent of their competitor where after a initial surge the stock would stabilize with a slight upward trend to close out the day.
ANYCOLOR WEEK IN REVIEW
Anycolor's week still ends up in the red, totaling to a 74 yen loss that can source most of it's trouble from Monday. Anycolor before Friday would see 2 additional days of losses, that could only be cushioned by a 9 yen gain on Tuesday.
Anycolor's future is rather worrying however, as since their peak of 2950 yen on December 19th the stock has been on a gradual decline, peaking at a 347 yen loss before Friday's performance helped pull them out of it. Next week will likely be a busy week as the dividends will be paid out on the 14th, with 3 days for them to face any potential consequence of that event.
OTHER
The gap between the two is current 83 yen, now in Cover Corp's favor.
