He's responsible for managing all of the Amber Glow talents, so he's got a lot on his shoulders. To be honest, even originally he said he wanted to just personally advise Terumi, not be a full blown manager in Tangent because that would complicate his contracts, so I totally understand the desire to step down formally. Terumi really wanted to keep him as a manager, though. You probably know why.
