If you really need a monitor for coding you need a dual monitor setup with a 1080p monitor. 4k monitors require a lot of zooming to be able to see tiny text and it kinda defeats the purpose of buying one. I recommend just running two 1080p monitors still, 4k monitors just don't work as workstations because you sit too close to the screen generally speaking that you have to move your head too much when using a 40+ inch 4k monitor with a dozen windows open.
